It’s done! It’s actually happened! When I checked in, the pharmacist was acting a bit worried and looking around and I heard her saying, “If we don’t have it ...” or something like that, and I felt so sick to think that they’d run out of vaccine 🥴 but they were just looking for a form for me to sign that I hadn’t brought with me! Phew.

I was flicking through Insta this morning (still on half term break and loving these lazy mornings) and enjoying posts and stories from S. Australia, Singapore, Hawaii, Germany .... I’m sure us mid-westerners are sick of seeing photos of how much snow we’ve had recently, but I certainly appreciate being Insta-friends with people all over the world and how, during this frustrating time of limited travel, I can still see different landscapes and how people are enjoying them.

Tramping about in virgin snow is so fun ... especially when you have a cozy cabin to retreat to afterwards!

What to do when you have a week’s vacation but you can’t leave the State? Head south to the sun, of course 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 Its marginally warmer in southern Illinois than it is in Chicago (12F as opposed to 3F) and there are actual HILLS!! We braved the icy roads to find a mini hiking trail - we actually left our car on the road here and walked the 0.3 miles to the trail head as we didn’t trust our city car to make it!

Another slip from the shopping ban, but when I saw these gorgeous @anthropologie dresses pop back online for the bargain price of $18, I couldn’t resist! I’ve had my eye on this style for years, there have been some gorgeous colorways, and I’ve seen many babes of different shapes and sizes rocking them. Showing them off in more details on my stories (and saved in my Anthropologie highlights). Happy Monday xxx

While it may be a chilly 10F/-12C (with an even chillier wind chill of -8F/-22C) here in Chicago today, I’m holding out hope that I will get to wear this gorgeous @tracy_reese x @anthropologie jumpsuit again soon! Thank you to @rebeccaineurope and @blackankleboots for this week’s #jumpsuitchallenge - even though I haven’t been wearing these summery jumpsuits this week, it’s been fun to look back and remember warmer and happier times! #2021outfitchallenge
